Seasonal Service Technician

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair customer units in for service in a timely manner
  • Order parts needed to complete repairs
  • Work efficiently to meet promised times for job completion
  • Maintain and repair all marina-owned units as needed.
  • Keep all work areas clean and organized
  • Explain repairs completed to customers if needed.
  • Increase repeat business by suggesting additional services or products the customer will need in near future
  • Communicate parts and supply needs to Sales/Service Lead as they arise
  • Assist with yearly dock installation and removal, storm recovery and preparation
  • Be cooperative and respectful to all marina, restaurant and management staff
  • Be reliable, show up on time, dressed appropriately, maintain friendly and helpful attitude

Parking Attendant

  • Attendants will be assigned to 1 of 3 posts through their shift, and should be familiar with the responsibilities of each one.
  • Greet each entering vehicle in a friendly manner, and determine the purpose of their visit
  • Direct cars to their appropriate area, keeping in communication with other crew members
  • Assist guests in locating their appropriate parking spot
  • Collect parking and ramp fees as needed
  • Facilitate gas sales, and collect payment. Handle sales of pre-packaged ice.
  • Practice proper cash handling techniques, and keep all monies and park/launch tickets organized
  • Be cooperative and respectful to all marina, restaurant and management staff
  • Be reliable, show up on time, dressed appropriately, maintain friendly and helpful attitude

Lady Bea Crew

  • Greet each guest in a friendly manner, and make them feel welcome them in our facility
  • Serve as deck hand and crew member for Lady Bea captains on regularly scheduled cruises and private charters/events as assigned.
  • Prepare boat for each cruise. This includes, but not limited to: ensure all necessary safety equipment is on board; stock coolers/fridge with ice, beer, wine, and soft drinks; stock snack food areas; check cleaning and paper goods supply levels and restock as needed.  Should be able to life at least 25 lbs.
  • Handle dock lines and buoys upon departure and arrival of each cruise
  • Provide drink and snack service to passengers, and maintain buffet for catered charters.
  • Maintain appearance and cleanliness of the bar area and cabins for the duration of the cruise
  • Practice proper cash handling techniques, balancing till and deposit at both the beginning and end of shift. Crew members will be held responsible for any shortages in their assigned till.
  • Check identification of guests to verify age requirements before serving alcohol
  • Take steps to limit problems and liability caused by excessive drinking, such as refusing alcohol to guests who are clearly intoxicated or have already consumed excessive amount of alcohol, calling taxis, or arranging alternate transportation for intoxicated guests
  • Post-cruise cleanup, removal of garbage from the boat. Basic cleaning of restroom facility.
  • Assist with loading and unloading of passengers
  • Take part in safety drills during “down-time” between cruises as schedules allow
  • Follow all applicable Coast Guard guidelines, and proper food handling procedures
  • Maintain current “on premise” TIPS certification
  • Be cooperative and respectful to all marina, restaurant and management staff
  • Be reliable, show up on time, dressed appropriately, maintain friendly and helpful attitude
  • Any other job as assigned by management
